Short-Term Respite (STR)
At My Care Provider, our Short-Term Respite (STR) services provide supported and engaging short-term stays for NDIS participants aged 15 and over.
We believe respite should reflect the core NDIS principles of choice and control. Participants are encouraged to have genuine input into their daily routines, activities, and how they spend their time during their stay, within a supportive and respectful environment.
Our approach balances professional support with a participant-led focus, so each stay feels purposeful, engaging, and aligned with the individual’s goals.
Who We Support
Our STR services are designed to support participants aged 15 years and over with a primary diagnosis of:
Psychosocial disabilities / mental health conditions
Mild to moderate intellectual disabilities, including acquired brain injury (ABI)
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) – Level 1 & Level 2
